Our caring staff understands the importance of your animal's health and wellbeing. We are dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care on every visit.
Dr. Adam Staff
DVM
Dr. Staff graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and has worked at the Chetek Veterinary Clinic ever since. He purchased the practice in 2011 from Dr. Andy Turner and has since guided the clinic through many updates and improvements. He has contributed by adding new equipment, updated techniques and additional staff. He is proud to support growth while keeping the clinic focused on its small-town roots.
Dr. Staff’s special interests include caring for animals as they age. “Advances in veterinary medicine are helping animals live longer lives. I take great satisfaction in improving the quality of those lives”.
Adam resides west of Chetek with his wife, Anneliese, and their 2 boys. Together, they have a small hobby farm where they raise sheep, have a huge garden as well as an orchard and a large blueberry patch. During his scarce free time, he enjoys tinkering with classic cars, fishing with the family and hunting in quiet solitude.
Dr. Rebecca Blotz
DVM
Dr. Blotz grew up in the Milwaukee area with her parents and one brother. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008 and joined Chetek Veterinary Clinic upon graduation. Rebecca enjoys working with dogs, cats, sheep, goats, potbellied pigs, rabbits and has a special interest in equine medicine. She lives near Chetek with her husband, Jerry and their son, Jordan. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of critters on her small hobby farm which include horses, goats, peafowl, and 2 New Foundlands. She and her family enjoy camping, traveling, boating and anything else outside!

Dr. Mackenzie Brost
DVM
Dr. Brost grew up in the Wisconsin Rapids area and pursued an undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before going on to attend veterinary school. Dr. Brost graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and has enjoyed making Barron County her home! She enjoys working with animals of all shapes and sizes and has a particular interest in equine medicine. Mackenzie resides outside of Barron with her husband, Ashtin and their daughter, Iris, on their small hobby farm along with their dogs, cats, and horses. During her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, and spending time with family.

Dr. Emily Massie
DVM
Dr. Massie is a returning local to the Barron County area after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2025. Emily enjoys working with animals of all shapes and sizes with special interests in equine and preventative medicine. She resides outside of Chetek with her husband Noah, where they spend their time farming, raising beef cattle, and gardening. Dr. Massie is excited to serve the local community she calls home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their animals.
Jessica Janota
Manager, Veterinary Assistant
Jessica joined our team in 2008. She brings years of experience, compassion, and dedication to both our patients and clients. She lives near Hillsdale with her daughter, Briella. They share their home with their golden retriever, Finleigh, and a three legged cat named Trinity. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and making memories with the people she loves most.
Antonia Phelps
CVT
Antonia has been a veterinary technician with us since 2013. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, CO in 2009. She is a WI native who left to see the world but has since returned to WI to be closer to family once again. She has two bullmastiffs, Gipsey and Optimum, a bunny Mirra, a tank full of fish, a human son Wyatt and her husband, Catlon. Outside of work she enjoys thrifting, attending Renaissance fairs, working on her Jeep and their "new to them" farmhouse and spending time visiting her parents dairy & goat farm.
Brooke Bronstad
Assitant Manager, Veterinary Assistant
Brooke joined our team in 2018 and has a true passion for animals of all kinds. She lives outside of Barron with her boyfriend, Cody, and their children, Layne and Rylee. Together they enjoy life on their hobby farm, which is home to horses, goats, sheep, chickens, peacocks, ducks, and plenty of dogs and cats.
Outside of the clinic, Brooke enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycle. She also loves cheering on Cody and Layne at the racetrack and making memories with her family both at home and outdoors.
Cassie Niederhauser
Veterinary Assistant
Cassie joined our team in 2022. She lives outside of Chetek with her husband, John, and their two children, Ty and Ellie. They share their busy lives with three dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats and a horse. In her "free" time Cassie enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding horse, fishing and hunting, watching the kids play sports, and crafting.
Bridget Kessey
Veterinary Assistant
Bridget has been with us for many years always lending a helping hand while continuing to enjoy her work as a Funeral Director Apprentice as well as being a member with the Sand Creek Fire Department.
She and her husband, Eric Hauck, made their home in the rural Sand Creek area. They own and operate a small rescue hobby farm that includes over 30 different highly spoiled animals. When she is not helping someone in need, she enjoys thrifting, garage sales, fishing, and spending time with her husband, friends & family.
Megan Mayer
Veterinary Assistant
Megan joined our team in 2024 and quickly became a valued part of the clinic with her caring personality and love for animals. She lives near Hillsdale with her husband, Derek, and their daughter, Sophia. Their home is kept busy with their two dogs, Dixie and Dobbie, who are always keeping them on their toes.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Natalie Brandl
Veterinary Assistant
Natalie joined our team in 2025 and quickly fit right in! When she's not caring for patients at the clinic, she's busy living the homestead life outside of Dallas with her husband, Andrew, their two dogs, Chevy & Dodge, and a whole crew of farm animal at Lucky Acres. From raising chickens, goats, pigs, and turkeys to tackling daily farm chores, Natalie is no stranger to hard work, muddy boots, and lots of animal love. Her passion for caring for animals doesn't stop at the clinic doors - it's truly a way of life!
McKenzie Livingston
Veterinary Assistant
McKenzie joined our team in 2026 and quickly became known for her compassionate approach to animal care. With a genuine passion for helping pets live happy, healthy lives, she enjoys building connections with both patients and their families while providing attentive, quality care.
Outside of the clinic, McKenzie lives near Birchwood with her boyfriend and their fur family - a Rottweiler named Champ and a cat named Bandit. When she's not caring for animals, you'll likely find her enjoying the outdoors, whether she's hunting, fishing, or spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys sewing and crocheting, hobbies that reflect her creativity and attention to detail.
McKenzie is proud to combine her love for animals with her dedication to client services, making her a valued member of the Cameron Vet Clinic.
Alyssa Kuffel
Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa joined our team in 2025. She is from Cameron and is currently obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from Saint Mary's University of MN. She is looking forward to applying to veterinary school next summer to obtain her DVM! Alyssa is also a part of the cross-country & track and field teams at her college, which keeps her very busy! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and helping out at her hobby farm. She also has two dogs and two cats at home.
